Barrington James is recruiting for an exciting Clinical Trial Manager opportunity with a leading clinical research organisation. This full-time, on-site role is based in Bethesda, Maryland and requires oncology experience and strong management skills.
The Clinical Trial Manager will play a key role in setting up and overseeing clinical trials, ensuring high-quality execution and regulatory compliance across multiple sites. This position involves managing trial processes, training and guiding clinical staff, and coordinating with sponsors, IRBs, and CROs. Travel may be required during trial initiation and close-out to support site activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the setup and management of oncology clinical trials across multiple locations
- Oversee Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS) and ensure regulatory compliance
- Train and support site staff, ensuring consistency in trial execution
- Manage trial documentation, quality management systems, and risk management programs
- Act as the key point of contact for sponsors, IRBs, and regulatory bodies
- Ensure adherence to BIMO and GCP standards, maintaining audit readiness
Requirements:
- Oncology clinical trial experience is essential
- Proven management experience leading trial operations and site teams
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, quality management, and trial compliance
- Experience collaborating with CROs, sponsors, and clinical teams
- Ability to work full-time on-site in Bethesda, MD
