Our client is seeking a talented and driven Restructuring & Insolvency Associate to join their Dallas office. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex corporate and commercial restructurings, loan workouts, bankruptcy litigation, and insolvency-related matters. Responsibilities:
- Handle corporate and commercial restructurings and loan workouts, including Chapter 11 cases and bankruptcy litigation.
- Represent clients in state and federal courts, managing insolvency-related matters and the exercise of lender remedies.
- Draft and negotiate loan and security documents in connection with distressed transactions.
- Manage multiple matters simultaneously and provide strategic legal counsel to clients.
- Collaborate with a highly skilled team of attorneys on complex financial restructurings and insolvency proceedings.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of relevant legal experience in restructuring and insolvency matters.
- Strong knowledge of Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases, lender remedies, and commercial restructurings.
- Experience in drafting and negotiating loan and security documents.
- Ability to handle multiple cases and work efficiently within a collaborative team.
- Admission to the Texas State Bar (or ability to obtain admission promptly).
