Job Description:
This role involves accurately calculating the costs and scope of large-scale commercial roofing projects. The estimator will evaluate blueprints, specifications, and site conditions to determine material requirements, labor needs, and project timelines. The role demands precision in estimating, effective communication with internal teams, and providing clients with accurate cost proposals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and project conditions to develop comprehensive cost estimates.
- Identify material requirements, labor needs, and timelines for large-scale commercial roofing projects.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project estimates align with company standards.
- Present cost estimates and project scopes effectively to clients.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in construction estimating with 3–5 years of experience as a Commercial Roofing Estimator.
- Hands-on experience using The Edge estimating software.
- Strong knowledge of low-slope and commercial roofing systems (preferred).
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and clients.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
