Location: Rochester, MN (Onsite, Monday-Friday)
Boden US is seeking an experienced Real Estate Manager to oversee the operational and financial activities of a small portfolio of properties in Rochester, MN on behalf of our client. This role falls under Property Management and involves ensuring buildings are operated efficiently while meeting client objectives.
Candidates must have prior experience working in a lab environment. Life Sciences experience is highly preferred, as the properties fall within this scope.
Relocation assistance may be available for candidates outside of Rochester.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor a team, including performance evaluations, training, and hiring.
- Oversee daily operations, establish schedules, assign tasks, and ensure cross-training.
- Act as the primary contact for property owners, ensuring their objectives are met.
- Address and resolve tenant issues and escalations.
- Develop and manage annual budgets for operations and capital expenses.
- Prepare and deliver monthly performance reports, explaining variances.
- Assist in the development of emergency recovery programs for properties.
- Prepare legal notices for approval and oversee rent/expense recovery processes.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve operational challenges within the portfolio.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience (or equivalent experience and education).
- Active real estate license required.
- Life Sciences experience highly preferred.
- Ability to manage sensitive and complex communications effectively.
- Strong leadership skills to motivate teams and drive efficiency.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
