Position: Data Scientist Intern – Translational Medicine Team We are seeking a highly motivated and creative
Data Scientist Intern
to join our Translational Medicine team. In this role, you will apply advanced computational methods and cutting-edge AI/ML techniques to support the advancement of our Immunology & Inflammation (I&I) programs.
What You’ll Do:
Data Analysis & Insight Generation:
Analyze genomic data, including single-cell RNA-seq and publicly available datasets, to generate actionable insights for advancing our I&I programs. AI/ML & Computational Modeling:
Apply AI/ML and computational modeling techniques to interpret multi-modal biological data and drive forward research. Pipeline Optimization:
Contribute to optimizing and maintaining data processing pipelines, ensuring efficient quality control and high-quality results. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with biologists and experimental scientists to design and implement hypothesis-driven research focused on autoimmune diseases and immunology. Clear Communication:
Present findings in team meetings, translating complex data into clear, understandable insights for both computational and experimental teams. Stay Ahead of Trends:
Stay up to date with the latest developments in computational biology and machine learning to incorporate cutting-edge methods into our research. What We’re Looking For:
Education:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Ph.D. (or equivalent) in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Statistics, or a related field. Technical Expertise:
Strong bioinformatics programming skills, especially in Python. Experience:
Experience analyzing bulk, single-cell, or spatial transcriptomics data is highly preferred. Problem Solving:
Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and maintain comprehensive documentation on computational analyses. Biological Insight:
A solid understanding of biology, immunology, or related fields is a plus. Additional Information:
This is a paid position and is part of the
