About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, Communications for the Southern California and Hawaii regions. This executive will be responsible for the strategic development and execution of integrated, internal, and external communication strategies that advance the organization's mission, promote and protect the brand, and support regional business objectives. The role involves leading a team that oversees marketing, creative services, member communications, corporate/internal communications, advertising, public relations, and issues management. The VP will also be a key advocate for the brand, working with internal colleagues, external stakeholders, and the media to ensure a consistent and powerful brand presence. Key responsibilities for the VP, Communications include leading the region's communication strategy, partnering with regional leadership, and aligning communication across functions. The successful candidate will be accountable for regional public relations, brand and issues management, and multimedia communications. They will also be involved in community health and benefit programs, ensuring the organization is a committed and enduring neighbor and a civic leader in the regions. The role requires a strategic thinker who can create linkages and alliances to enhance the company's influence and impact. The VP will be expected to actively participate in executive leadership teams and bring a regional perspective to the work, ensuring the success of the brand in every region.
