Position Summary:
As a Full Stack Developer, you will engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including technical exchange meetings, design, coding, testing, debugging, configuration management, and production support. You will contribute to the development and maintenance of Java-based applications that support critical missions.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy front-end and back-end solutions.
Participate in agile scrum team activities, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Create and maintain technical documentation and whitepapers.
Perform debugging and troubleshooting to resolve system issues.
Apply best practices in configuration management and code versioning.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
1-3 years of experience in JavaScript and web development.
1-5 years of experience in Java development.
Proficiency in front-end technologies such as Angular, Jasmine, HTML5, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with Node.js and NPM.
Security+ certification.
Understanding of geospatial concepts.
Strong background in mathematics, science, or aerospace.
Familiarity with Agile development processes.
Experience with system monitoring technologies like Munin, Nagios, or Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, and Beats).
Proficiency in tools like Jira and CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins or Bamboo.
Experience with Java development tools (VS Code, Eclipse IDE, Maven).
Knowledge of relational database fundamentals.
Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
