Altoona Spherion is hiring for a qualified Help Desk Technician to provide technical support and assistance to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues!

Key Responsibilities: Respond to user inquiries via phone or email to diagnose and resolve technical issues Troubleshoot hardware issues (e.g., desktops, laptops, printers) and software problems (e.g., operating systems, applications) Assist with account management tasks, including password resets and access permissions Escalate complex issues to higher-level IT support when necessary Provide basic training or guidance to users on software and system usage Maintain and update IT inventory records as needed Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (Associates degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred) 1-2 years of experience in technical support or customer service (entry-level candidates with relevant certifications may be considered) Technical Skills:

Proficiency with Windows operating systems Familiarity with common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) Basic understanding of networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) Essential Skills and Abilities:

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to prioritize and manage multiple support requests Attention to detail for accurate documentation and issue tracking Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes Working Conditions:

Full-time position, averaging 37 hours per week (may include evening, weekend, or on-call shifts) Office-based at operations center Valid drivers license with occasional travel between branches APPLY NOW
