ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST
Orr Energy Services is looking for an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team. This individual would be responsible for AP, AR, and various other accounting duties as required. We are located in Downtown Tulsa with operations across the region. This is a full-time, in-person position in our offices with flexibility based upon the right individual’s ability to complete designated assignments.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Accounts payable: bill entry, coding, reconciliation, reporting, vendor setup and compliance management.
Accounts receivable: invoice entry, reconciliation, monitor collections, and reporting.
1099 tracking.
Monthly reporting and reconciliation of AP/AR accounts.
Coordination with various departments.
Assist with month-end closings.
Ad hoc reporting as necessary.
REQUIREMENTS
Prior knowledge of QuickBooks Online software preferred.
2-year degree relevant to the position preferred.
Good accounting background (minimum of 3+ years’ experience).
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills – pivot tables, Vlookup, etc.
Passion for details and the ability to explain those details to a variety of audiences.
Financial integrity beyond reproach. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to take initiative and work independently.
Physically able to perform duties.
