GISD Standards, Personalized Service and Quality Programs ROLE AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES The PC/Equipment Support Technical Lead is responsible for the planning, installation, configuration and maintenance of workstations, peripherals, mobile devices and related support equipment. Oversees project implementation with regard to small scale and large scale device deployment and/or upgrades as well as construction projects. Performs walkthroughs for projects and tracks work to be completed. Creates and maintains end-user tip sheets and documentation. Maintains equipment inventory and schedules equipment disposals. Evaluates and recommends workstation and mobile device hardware, software, and management solutions. Mentors PC/Equipment Support Technicians and provides coverage at Shared Technical Services districts. SALARY AND BENEFITS Salary:
$44,865 - $61,437 annually comiserate with education/experience.

Eligible for health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance after one full day of employment. WORK LOCATION AND SCHEDULE Education and Learning Erwin L. Davis Education Center 2413 West Maple Avenue, Flint, MI 48507
Schedule:
7.5 hours per day; 261 days per year; 52 weeks.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Minimum high school diploma/equivalent required. A+ and/or MCP or equivalent industry certification preferred. Associate's degree in computer science or related field preferred. Demonstrated current knowledge and expertise supporting desktop computers, mobile devices and peripheral equipment required.
Experience: Minimum five years demonstrated successful current work experience supporting desktop computers in a Helpdesk or field service environment.
