Welder Fabricator for High-end Architectural Metal Work
We are a Brooklyn-based multi-disciplinary design-build and fabrication studio, with a focus on architectural and ornamental metal fabrication. We are seeking an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join our team. This position will report directly to the Shop Manager. Candidates must excel in high-end architectural metal fabrication, ornamental metalwork, and or metal sculpture/art fabrication, and be able to operate all standard workshop machinery. Strong on-site / installation skills are required. We are dedicated to maintaining a safe and engaging working environment for our artisan craftspeople. Our work environment includes: Collaborative workshop environment Opportunity for advancement Lively atmosphere Safe work environment Skills and Abilities Qualified candidates will possess the following skills/qualifications: Minimum 5 years of experience Excels at all types of welding (TIG, MIG, SMAW) Machining on manual vertical mill and lathe Ability to read and interpret shop drawings Fine metal finishing and application of patina/chemical finishes Ability to manage your own time while also directing helpers on various tasks to assist you Valid DL, SST, G35, F60, G60 In addition to the above qualifications, you must also have strong conceptual working knowledge of the following: CNC Press brake operation CNC Laser and Router operation 2D and 3D CAD/CAM software Location:

$25-$45 commensurate with experience and qualifications Expected Hours:
No less than 32 hours per week Working hours:
