Job Summary

The Head Stringer Tennis is responsible for providing high-quality stringing services for tennis racquets while ensuring an exceptional client experience. This role involves educating players on the importance of racquet maintenance and string selection, as well as promoting a positive atmosphere within our retail pro shop, owned by one of the premier coaches in the game. The ideal candidate will have a passion for tennis and sports, combined with strong customer service skills.

Duties

• Perform racquet stringing services with precision and attention to detail.
• Educate clients on different types of strings, tensions, and their impact on performance.
• Maintain an organized workspace and ensure all equipment is in good working condition.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns.

Skills

• CS Certified Stringer
• MRT Master Racquet Technician
• Strong knowledge of tennis equipment, particularly racquets and strings.
• Experience in working with a variety of tennis racquets.
• Background in tennis, advanced, customized stringing experience a plus.
• Oversee stringing machines, demo equipment, care and maintenance.
• Knowledge of various strings and brands.
• Ability to educate clients effectively about racquet maintenance and stringing techniques.
• Experience in working with all levels of players.
• Excellent communication skills to foster positive relationships with clients and team members.
• We offer certification training from third parties.
• A passion for sports and a desire to contribute within a sports retail experience.
