Executive Director Job Posting Encompass Ministries, also known as Papa’s Pantry, is a Christian non-profit organization located in Woodstock, GA. 30189, with a mission to help individuals and families re-establish stability and self-reliance by offering a variety of programs including immediate food assistance, employment strategies, and life skills through hands-on support and ongoing training, to have a community where everyone has the tools to achieve stability, and no one goes to bed hungry. Reports to: Board of Directors through the Board Chair Position Overview: The Executive Director (ED) is responsible for leading and overseeing the organization's overall strategic, operational, and financial management. The ED will serve as the organization's public face, advocating for its mission and values, fostering community partnerships, and ensuring that the organization continues to provide high-quality, culturally relevant services. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the organization's programs, staff, and volunteers Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of all programs and services to ensure they are effective and meet the needs of clients Enhance support for clients by building relationships with community organizations Serve as a thought-leader on issues the affect root causes of financial instability Develop and implement strategic plans in alignment with the organization’s mission, vision, and values Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements Develop and manage the organization's annual budget Represent the organization in the public Serve on the Board of Directors as a nonvoting, ex-officio member ,

providing guidance and support to ensure effective governance and long-term sustainability Fundraising & Financial Management: Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy to diversify revenue streams, including grant writing, donor cultivation, events, and partnerships Oversee the organization's financial health, ensuring sound financial practices and financial reporting to the Board of Directors Directs the annual budget preparation process and recommends appropriate revision. Maintain strong relationships with current and potential funders to secure sustainable funding for the organization’s operations and growth Creates and submits reports to the Board regarding programs, operations, and external factors Oversees grant compliance, documentation, and reports Staff & Operations

Management: Lead and mentor a diverse team of staff and volunteers, ensuring high performance levels, professional development, and job satisfaction Oversee the organization’s day-to-day operations, including human resource functions, facilities management, volunteer programs, marketing, and program delivery Promote a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for clients, staff, and volunteers Skills & Competencies: Proven ability to lead diverse teams and manage organizational growth Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, financial reporting, and grant management Expertise in program development, implementation, and evaluation Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to advocate and build relationships with diverse stakeholders, decision-makers, and supporters in the community Demonstrated success in fundraising, donor cultivation, and securing grants Ability to create a work environment where employees work as a team to achieve the organization's mission Qualifications: Encompass Ministries is considered a religious organization. Candidate must be a strong Christian. Education: Bachelor’s degree in social work, public administration, nonprofit management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of leadership, coaching, and relationship management experience. Nonprofit experience preferred Experience in developing and implementing successful fundraising campaigns and events Experience in donor relations, management, and retention Experience in hiring and managing staff Strong marketing, public relations, and fundraising experience Strong written and verbal communication skills Job Location: This in-person position is based in Woodstock, Cherokee County, GA and serves families within Cherokee and surrounding counties
