This position is responsible for overseeing the Quality Improvement and Records Management. Has a clear understanding of state and federal requirements including a clear understanding of Medicaid regulations. Ensuring that the agency is prepared for all internal audits and external audits. Ensuring that the agency is in compliance with all state and federal regulations. Ensuring accreditation compliance with Joint Commission, DMHA, etc. Ensuring the medical record is in compliance with all state and federal regulations and laws. Ensuring the compliance of Infection Control with state, federal and accrediting bodies. Provide direct supervision to quality/compliance associates. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Assist in the development of annual work audit plans. Responsible for department timely monthly completion and review of all internal quality audits. Prepare for and oversee external reviews and audits. Continually evaluate data collection methods to ensure all relevant information is fully and accurately collected for various Quality Improvement work plan metrics. Oversee client satisfaction survey, preparing reports and providing feedback to the Chief Compliance and Quality Officer. Lead site visit preparation for various regulatory and accreditation agencies. Monitor and track all state and federal quality improvement and reporting requirements including but not limited to Division of Mental Health & Addiction, Joint Commission, Indiana State Department of Health, Center for Medicare Services. Compile data relative to client complaints monthly. Ensure compliance with DMHA relative to certification of CCBHC, CMHC, IPU, Transitional Living and Supervised Group Living. Ensure Plans of Correction are completed, uploaded and updates provided as required. Oversees the management of agency Policy & Procedures and ensures adherence to the policy on Policy & Procedure. Ensure all department and staff supervised have daily, weekly, and monthly key performance metrics and that supervision occurs in line with metric performance. Ensures the maintenance and destruction medical records that meet state and federal standards for maintenance and destruction, log information according to established procedures. Understands process for submission of assessments, NOMS, SDOH, etc. to DARMHA and how the error reports work and are managed. Oversight of Infection Control Program: Ensure that the infectious waste/handling and disposal policy is being followed. Ensure the maintenance of up-to-date records of annual health screening and immunization records (including Covid) for all associates, providing information relating to non-compliance as well as compliance. Includes the supervision of compliance/medical records staff when they are completing these duties. Ensure infection control in-service training for associates at orientation and yearly online training with updates as needed. Document all infection control activities per regulation, including reviewing lice checks. Review monthly cleaning schedules, monitor refrigerator temperatures, review reports, hand washing monitoring, influenza activities, etc. Attend and report infection control information in internal committee meetings and engage in any follow up identified. Additional Compensation And Incentives
Eligible for $150/month ($1,800 annually) in student loan repayment Earn $750 for every person you refer who is hired and remains employed for 6 months and receive an additional $500 every year as long as you both remain employed. Background Checks:

Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree in closely related field preferred. Experience
Experience in quality improvement and care coordination programs required. Minimum three (3) years of managerial experience required. Previous experience developing departmental infrastructure required. Necessary Skills
Must be efficient in data management and technology savvy. Strong quantitative, organizational and administrative skills. Strong people and project management skills. Ability to supervise others and maintain professional relationships among and between associates. Ability to think critically and perform complex problem solving. Ability to manipulate large databases, produce meaningful analytical and management reports and operate comfortably within multiple computer applications. Models professionalism, teamwork and communication internally and externally.
