Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist to join their growing division.
Candidates must hold or be eligible for a certificate of special competence in Maternal Fetal Medicine from the American Board. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Highlights include: Employment by ECU Health Physicians-Academic Practice Model Hospital privileges at ECU Health Medical Center, a 974-level 1 trauma center Established division that includes a team of 4 MFM board certified sub-specialists, reproductive endocrinology/Infertility subspecialist, gynecologic oncologist, urogynecologist, midwives, and 12 trained faculty level perinatal sonologists and genetic counselors Antenatal Diagnosis (10,000+ ultrasound studies annually), Clinical Genetics, Outpatient and Inpatient Consultation Services State-of-the-art Ultrasound Imaging System and image storage 29-County service area with built in referral network Monday- Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM schedule with call (phone) every 6 weeks 3,900 annual deliveries at ECU Health Medical Center 350 Maternal transports annually State-of-the-art Children’s Hospital offering 20 pediatric sub-specialties and Level IV NICU Comprehensive benefits including relocation assistance, vacation & sick PTO, CME days & reimbursement, malpractice (with tail), retirement benefits, state health plan health insurance, employer paid dependent health insurance, medical and dental reimbursements, employer paid AD&D, disability, and life insurance Additional supplemental insurance benefits options: Accident, AD&D, Cancer, Critical Illness, Dental, FSA for Healthcare and Dependent Care Expenses, Life, and Vision The faculty members' interests and skills include: Consultation for regional providers concerning high-risk pregnancies Outpatient Management of High-Risk Pregnancies, 9,000+ visits (2,000 patients per year) Pre-conception Counseling Full range of fetal diagnostic procedures including amniocentesis, PUBS, CVS, etc. Fetal therapy including intrauterine transfusion, amino infusion, drug therapy, twin to twin transfusion syndrome, etc. Clinical research with basic science collaboration ECU Health ECU Health is a mission-driven, 1,708-bed academic health care system serving more than 1.4 million people in 29 eastern North Carolina counties.
