This is an outside sales position that requires
frequent travel
within your assigned territory to visit and engage with customers.
A remote home office is required. Territory Sales Manager – Southwest Louisiana Lepley Recruiting Services is partnering with a family-owned, professional distribution company specializing in a comprehensive range of high-quality products, including Porcelain, Natural Stone, Outdoor Pavers, Pool Coping, SPC Vinyl, Pool Tile, Glass Tile, Slabs, Setting Materials, and Decorative products. As the largest U.S. supplier of Porcelain and Natural Stone Pavers and Pool Coping, the company serves a nationwide, trade-only customer base, including homebuilders, flooring dealers, contractors, pool builders, landscape contractors, fabricators, commercial clients, architects, and designers. We are seeking an
experienced and driven Territory Sales Manager
to join the team and oversee sales in the Southwest Louisiana market . The ideal candidate will have a
proven track record in outside sales, strong relationship-building skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service . Key Responsibilities Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities through face-to-face meetings, phone calls, emails, and texts. Secure and grow sales by engaging with both existing and potential customers. Prepare and submit competitive quotes for customer projects. Follow up on submitted quotations to drive sales conversions. Establish and maintain strong, professional relationships with customers. Plan and execute a daily sales schedule to maximize territory coverage. Deliver product samples and provide detailed product knowledge to customers. Participate in local industry association events to expand brand presence. Conduct PK (Product Knowledge) training sessions for customers. Set up samples and displays in customer showrooms to enhance product visibility. Submit daily activity and call reports detailing customer interactions. Provide monthly sales forecasts for the assigned territory. Maintain a high level of self-discipline and operate with minimal supervision. Qualifications & Requirements 5+ years of outside sales experience (flooring industry experience preferred). 3+ years of experience in the flooring industry is a plus. Currently working or recently employed in the flooring industry is highly preferred. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-disciplined. Strong relationship-building skills and a dedicated work ethic. Outstanding customer service and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated, results-driven, and proactive with a strong sense of urgency. Ability to develop and manage a sales territory effectively. Proven ability as a strong prospector and closer. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Willingness to travel within the state as needed. Valid driver’s license required. Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary + commission . Guaranteed commission for months 2-4
