Software (Data) Engineer - Series A Climate Tech Startup - San Francisco (Onsite) A Series A funded Climate Tech startup on a mission to stabilize the earth's climate is on the lookout for a Software (Data) Engineer to join their team. What you'll be doing: Build and scale robust data infrastructure and integrations that power operational workflows and scientific processes, focusing on creating efficient, automated systems that enable data-driven decision making. Develop backend solutions using Python/FastAPI while managing technical infrastructure including cloud systems, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tools to ensure reliable service delivery. Foster a culture of engineering excellence through comprehensive documentation, automated testing, and high-quality code practices that support seamless deployment and system reliability. What we're looking for: At least 3 years of software development experience in Python. Experience with geospatial data. Skilled in building ETL pipelines. Strong track record of shipping products, especially in a startup environment. Passion about addressing climate change.
