Holy Trinity School located in Avon, OH is accepting applications for the position of Co-Principal.
Holy Trinity School in Avon, Ohio, was honored with the National Blue Ribbon Award for academic excellence in September 2020.
It serves over 525 students in preschool through eighth grade and provides exceptional academic programs enriched by a wide range of extracurricular opportunities.
Holy Trinity School prepares students to know, love and serve God, upholding the traditions of the Catholic faith through classroom instruction, daily prayer, and meaningful service.
Qualifications:
Ohio Elementary Principal's certification/licensure (in progress)
Practicing Catholic who actively lives out their faith
Preferred experience in a Catholic elementary school setting
Willingness to collaborate as part of a leadership team
Background in curriculum development and implementation
Strong skills in building interpersonal relationships
Visionary and energetic leader who exemplifies transformational goals
Effective communicator with students, parents, and staff
Individual Responsibilities: (Included but are not limited to)
Oversee and manage auxiliary employees, ensuring smooth operations and support services.
Provide leadership and support for the preschool program, maintaining high-quality early childhood education.
Coordinate diocesan relationships and oversee accreditation reports to ensure compliance with educational standards.
Lead parent communication efforts, fostering strong relationships and ensuring timely and effective information sharing.
Facilitate and oversee school inspections and state reporting to ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and educational requirements.
Manage school security measures to maintain a safe and secure learning environment.
Support and coordinate Special Education services, ensuring students receive appropriate resources and accommodations.
Shared Responsibilities: (Included but are not limited to)
Collaborate on student behavior management and disciplinary actions.
Conduct teacher, staff, and classroom observations.
Attend and participate in meetings with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment and collaboration.
Work with parish staff to align with faith-based measures for our school community.
Oversee student safety and supervision in the lunchroom, at recess, and during before- and after-school transitions.
Serve as a liaison for parent communication and concerns.
Plan and lead faculty meetings, incorporating opportunities for professional development and spiritual growth.
Collaborate with the director of enrollment to communicate with school stakeholders and participate in the planning and execution of school open houses.
Attend various after-school events that support the spiritual growth of students.
Actively participate in special education meetings and the intervention process.
Collaborate with public school districts to secure state-funded scholarships.
