Job Description

Assists the Imaging Director or their designee in directing the daily Imaging Departmental activities. Responsible for the day-to-day operations of CT, and for making room and work assignments for the staff to accommodate the work requirements as well as staff scheduling and payroll. Coordinates the students in the clinical setting. Responsible for credentialing and regulatory compliance.

Education And Credentials

Graduate of a two (2) or four (4) year Radiology training program approved by the JRCERT. Current New York State license and ARRT registration of eligibility - registered within one (1) year of hire. Certified to perform contrast administration or become certified within six (6) months. CPR certification required.

Experience

Three (3) or more years' experience working as a Technologist within CT. Supervisory experience preferred. Must have good verbal and writing communication skills, computer experience and organizational skills. Experience and knowledge in all aspects of diagnostic imaging modalities and staffing. Good interpersonal skills for relating to people on various levels of the organization.
