Position : Network Engineer L3

Location : Jacksonville, FL (Onsite)

Job Description:

Ten plus (10+) years of experience in networking environment responsible to plan and build new network environment; prepare, document and deploy changes in a network; understand the issues related to day to day operations ;troubleshoot network issues with a network sniffer like Wireshark; test tools and procedures for voice and data circuits and liaison with carriers and vendors for installations and highly skilled and experienced Cisco ACI and EVPN Engineer to design, deploy, and manage Application Centric Infrastructure in an enterprise or data center environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network architecture, automation, and security with expertise in Cisco ACI solutions. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement scalable, reliable, and secure network solutions that align with business requirements.

Required Skills: Certified technical engineer (typically Cisco CCIE or comparable); Expertise in Cisco ACI architecture, including APIC, leaf, and spine switches. Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) and their integration with ACI In-depth hands on experience with common network hardware including F5 Load balancer, Cisco router, switches, firewalls etc., together with other preferred technologies; Full understanding of ITIL and service management principals and hands on experience in complex LAN/WAN, MAN, DWDM, SONET architecture; Full understanding and operational knowledge of loop prevention protocols like spanning tree protocols; In-depth knowledge of L2 protocols like HSRP, VRRP, VTP, 802.1Q, Flex Link, LACP, etc.; In-depth working knowledge and troubleshooting of IP routing and network protocols (OSPF,BGP, EIGRP, RIP, spanning tree, multicast etc.); Full understanding of operational knowledge for troubleshooting of Cisco operating systems like IOS and NX-OS;
