Role Summary

URBN is searching for a Leave of Absence Supervisor to join a fantastic team! The Leave of Absence Supervisor manages all leave programs (e.g., Personal, Paid Parental, Medical, FMLA, Military, State Statutory, Disability, Family Leave) for all of our locations in North America. Plus, management of workers' compensation cases across all Supply Chain locations. This role includes oversight of two specialists, case management, administrative duties and compliance with state and federal laws. The supervisor interacts daily with employees, managers, HR, Health & Safety, Legal Partners, Healthcare Providers, and Disability Vendors, handling confidential matters. They excel in a fast-paced environment, consistently meeting tight deadlines while ensuring compliance and accuracy. They provide exceptional support with meticulous attention to detail and outstanding customer service.

Role Responsibilities

Leave of Absence Management and administration of all leave programs (e.g. Personal, Paid Parental, Medical, FMLA, Military, State Statutory Disability and Family Leave programs) Interpret and administer leave programs and policies in accordance with applicable federal and state laws Evaluate leave cases based on medical information, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and Employee Privacy guidelines Manage all administrative aspects of leave including tracking hours used/taken and working closely with HR and Payroll to ensure accurate and correct pay for associates Workers Compensation

Management and administration of all Supply Chain Workers Compensation programs Partner closely with Health & Safety and Supply Chain Local HR teams to administer workers compensation programs Ensure the workers' compensation program is managed in accordance with OSHA and workers' compensation laws with close partnership with the Health & Safety team Ensure that all workers' compensation claims are submitted in a timely manner to the vendor (e.g. within 48 business hours of the incident) Collaborate with employees to ensure timely submission of medical documentation, maintain contact during leave, and coordinate their return to work General Administration

Supervise and support two specialists that administer leave of absence and workers compensation cases over 600 locations across North America in a compliant and service-oriented manner Produce and manage reporting metrics and analytics for all leave cases and workers' compensation claims Communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing) with employees, managers, and claims adjusters to process leave requests and associated paperwork Partner closely with internal partners on all leave cases and workers' compensation claims This role involves actively working to improve processes and policies to enhance efficiency, compliance, and overall employee experience This role may require travel to other locations Perform all other duties as assigned or required #LI-MH3

Role Qualifications

4+ years' experience and expertise in leave administration, workers compensation or absence management in a multi-state environment; both non-exempt and exempt Self-motivated with exceptional attention to detail in managing complex cases and projects Exhibits excellent written and verbal communication skills, effectively conveying information across various platforms and situations Proven ability to be an independent decision-maker Ability to dispute and resolve complex cases Possesses extensive expertise in state statutory disability plans, short- and long-term disability, and federal/state leave of absence programs (e.g., FMLA) Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and UKG or related software
