$85K - $115K DOE JOB SUMMARY: Leads Information Systems (IS) activities in the planning, implementation, and maintenance of all enterprise computer hardware and software systems to ensure a cohesive and integrated data environment. Works closely with all internal business units to ensure that data systems provide timely, accurate, and necessary information to all team members and promotes team member engagement through the development of training and user support tools. Contributes as a Subject Matter Expert in the implementing and sustaining SAFE Boats ERP system. Provides oversight of the IT Team, maintaining alignment between IS and Company priorities and projects. RESPONSIBILITIES: Manages information systems for SAFE Boats Provides strategic input regarding the company’s information systems Identifies business needs, gathers requirements from end users, works with management to develop plans and identify solutions, then guides the implementation and maintenance of systems at SAFE Develops strategies for data migration and/or integration with legacy platforms and data sets Responsible for developing and managing systems including: CAD, PDM, PLM, ERP, and CRM Shop-floor automation Maintenance and ticketing Collaboration tools Other systems as necessary Provides expert knowledge of data structure and data management Plans and edits policy and procedures for data storage, data management, and internal information processes Manages contractors utilized for the various efforts under Information Systems Coordinates with Purchasing Department to negotiate hardware, software, and service purchases/subscription agreements Budget responsibility Prepares the annual Information Systems budget and updates as required Monitors spending against plans Prepares and executes capital expenditure plan Develops and presents reports on Key Performance Indicators to senior management May supervise IS/IT Department team members Performs business process analysis and best practices application to develop workflows and reporting Manages the creation of user documentation and training guidelines Develops and provides training to SAFE Team Members related to information systems Responsible for SBI IT Infrastructure to include: Desktop hardware and software (including email, etc.) Network infrastructure Internal and external servers Internal and external shared services Develops and implements information security policies, procedures, and systems Responsible for achieving and maintaining compliance with U.S. Government security requirements including NIST SP 800-171 Responsible for Team Member training and testing SKILLS & ABILITIES: Strong communication and technical skills with the ability to quickly grasp technical issues/concepts Ability to effectively lead/facilitate teams Creative yet practical in problem solving and decision making Strong analytical and interpretative skills Self-motivated, creative, and strategic thinker Experience & Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any Engineering or related field or equivalent experience Five years of experience in information systems implementation and administration Experience with maintaining an ERP system required, experience implementing an ERP system strongly desired Experience in a manufacturing environment Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit for long periods of time Grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, kneeling, crawling, repetitive motions, bending, climbing Listening and hearing ability and visual acuity Bend, stoop, squat and stretch to complete tasks SAFE Boats International, LLC abides by the requirements of 41 CFR §§ 60-1.4(a), 60-300.5(a) and 60-741.5(a).
