As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will be working closely with product managers, designers, QA engineers, and design-oriented frontend engineers. You will be responsible for designing, building, deploying, and scaling various frontend interfaces under the CleverTap Platform. You will play an integral role in improving the user experience of our frontend modules as well as build and enhance frameworks and tools to improve the development experience and productivity of our frontend engineers. As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will be responsible for writing bug-free programs that conform with coding guidelines and best practices while delivering the functional requirements at scale. You will investigate and fix bugs, write tests, communicate progress, and identify blocking issues. We are looking for an engineering mindset that brings fresh ideas from various areas, including large-scale platform design, UI/UX, security practices, and large-scale data retrieval and processing environments. What will you do:
Translate UI/UX design wireframes to programming specifications that will produce visual elements of the application. Develop programs (in HTML, JavaScript, etc.) as per the specifications to achieve the stated output that integrates seamlessly with the interfacing applications. Work on Front-end SPA frameworks using Vue. Participate in team meetings and communicate clearly. What are we looking for?
Must have: 5-8 years of experience in front-end development. Experience with SPA frameworks like Vue.js, React, or Angular. A deep understanding of vanilla JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, JavaScript frameworks & knowledge of OOP, SOLID principles, and TypeScript. Understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS. Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery. Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them. Understanding and practical knowledge of Node, npm, webpack. Good to have: Experience in the SaaS domain. Experience in building products that are powered by data & insights. Experience working closely with UX teams. Comfortable with a fast-paced environment and working with ambiguity.
