Major course work in Criminal Justice, Management, or Communication preferred.Each year of experience as described below in excess of the required seven years may be substituted for thirty semester hours from an accredited college or university on a year-for-year basis.Seven years full-time, wage-earning experience in conflict resolution, conducting investigations, or criminal justice.Four years full-time, wage-earning experience in the supervision of employees to include TDCJ program administration.Writing or document drafting experience preferred.The salary for an ERS Retiree (or non-contributing member) may be reduced by 2.5%.The following Military Occupational Specialty codes are generally applicable to this position.
