We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Permanent Tax Senior for a hybrid role in our San Jose office. This unique position offers the opportunity to work in both the public Accounting and Finance industry, providing strategic tax planning, auditing, and diversified accounting services to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C corps, corporations, high net worth individuals, and will possess the ability to instruct and supervise junior team members. The role requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in the field. Responsibilities

Prepare and review complex tax returns for a variety of entities, including corporations and high net worth individuals. Conduct thorough tax planning and research to minimize tax liability and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws. Guide and supervise junior team members in their tasks, providing instruction and feedback to promote professional growth. Perform diversified accounting duties as necessary, including financial statement preparation and review. Conduct audits of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and expert advice. Stay updated on current tax laws and industry trends to provide accurate and relevant advice to clients. Qualifications

A minimum of 5+ years of experience in tax accounting, with a focus on corporations and C corps. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or Master's degree in Taxation is highly preferred. Proven experience in tax planning and auditing, with a strong understanding of local, state, and federal tax laws. Extensive experience in diversified accounting, including financial statement preparation and review. Experience working with high net worth individuals and providing tailored tax solutions. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to supervise and instruct junior team members. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients. Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
