$55.00/hr - $60.00/hr

Immediate need for a talented Cybersecurity Engineer. This is a 06+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Riverwoods, IL (Hybrid). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $55 - $60/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Key Skills: Database Activity Monitoring (Imperva/IBM Guardian, Jsonar), Python, Identity & Authentication technologies (OAuth2/OIDC, SAML, WebAuthn, PKI, LDAP).
• Database Security: Experience with DAM tools such as Imperva, IBM Guardian, or Jsonar.
• Scripting & Development: Proficiency in Shell scripting, Python, and object-oriented programming (GO, Java).
• Database Expertise: Strong hands-on experience in SQL/PL-SQL, stored procedures, and Oracle DB performance tuning.
• Cybersecurity Tools: Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and DLP tools (BigID, Securiti.AI).
• Cloud Security: Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, cloud security monitoring, logging (CloudWatch), and serverless/containerization (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, Docker/Kubernetes).
• API & Data Security: Knowledge of API authentication methods (OAuth, JWT) and experience working with third-party APIs.
• CI/CD & DevOps: Skilled in CI/CD tools such as JIRA, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, and Ansible.
• Security Frameworks: Understanding of NIST, ISO standards, and cryptographic tools (Prime Factors, Protegrity).
• Certifications (Preferred): CISSP, GIAC (GSEC), or equivalent cybersecurity certifications.
