You will make an impact by: Directing the vocational educational programs and activities that include curriculum, instruction, attendance monitoring, retention, and academic advisement to ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, accrediting bodies, and company policies and procedures in concert with other ACC campus programs. Assisting with all communication regarding the applicable program board, accrediting and/or licensing agency, changes to program content, physical facilities, and faculty, legal receipts/requests for documents, and/or completion of required reports in order to maintain programmatic accreditation and/or licensure status coordinated through the appropriate College Administration Department. Your experience includes: Minimum three to five years' experience in teaching in an academic setting. Three to five years of increasing responsibility and experience in a management level position in an academic environment with a demonstrated record of professional success in curriculum development, educational effectiveness assessment and improvement, faculty development and performance appraisals, student attrition, retention, and graduate outcomes. Education: Bachelor degree in higher education, teaching discipline, counseling/student services, or related field required that is accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education or Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) or an otherwise recognized training entity (e.g., hospital-based program) in the specialty field or subject area in which they teach.
