We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Security Engineer to design, implement, and manage secure network infrastructures. This role requires extensive expertise in Cisco networking technologies, hybrid cloud environments, and advanced security solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and cloud security while ensuring compliance with industry best practices. Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage network security infrastructure, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, NAC, and secure access solutions. Configure and maintain security appliances, such as Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, and Fortinet firewalls, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with security policies. Monitor network traffic for anomalies, analyze security threats, and respond to security incidents promptly. Implement and enforce security policies, standards, and guidelines to meet regulatory compliance requirements. Manage complex hybrid cloud environments, including SD-WAN, cloud firewalls, on-prem firewalls, network access control, and wireless networking. Configure and support Azure ExpressRoute, AWS networking, virtual networks, and cloud-native security groups. Implement load balancing, reverse proxies, and cloud-based security solutions (e.g., F5 Load Balancers, Akamai, and Prolexic). Design and deploy Cisco-based network solutions, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure. Manage Cisco Prime Infrastructure and other network management tools for performance monitoring and optimization. Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity, security, and performance issues. Develop and maintain network documentation, including configurations, topologies, and operational procedures. Utilize network monitoring tools such as Cisco Prime, SolarWinds, Nagios, NetBrain, InfoBlox, NetFlow, ArgoSec, and Splunk/ArcSight. Develop scripts for automation to streamline operational and security tasks. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network security-related issues, including participating in on-call rotations as needed. Conduct regular security audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability testing. Implement firewall policies and virus protection updates to enhance data security. Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) required. Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert (CCIE) preferred. 7+ years of experience in network engineering and security. Extensive experience in Cisco environments, including Cisco Integrated Service Engine, routers, switches, and firewalls. Strong understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and MPLS. Hands-on experience with cloud environments (Azure, AWS), network and routing protocols, Windows Server, Microsoft Entra ID, and Software-Defined Networking (SDN). Expertise in application load balancing with F5, GTM/LTM, and VPN technologies. Knowledge of wireless Ethernet technologies (802.11a/b/g, 802.1x) is a plus. Skills
