The North America Sourcing Sr. Director for Instruments will lead outsourced equipment and medical device sourcing, including OEM/branded products, spare parts, and services. This role involves cross-functional collaboration with the NA Instruments team to build a strong product portfolio and execute category strategies aligned with business objectives. The Sr. Director will develop and execute regional sourcing strategies, supplier base development, cost reduction initiatives, and supply chain optimization while ensuring compliance with quality, service, and sustainability standards. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with business needs. Evaluate, introduce, and optimize the supplier base to ensure competitive advantages. Coordinate purchasing activities across operations and business functions. Ensure effective sourcing of devices and components to support business growth. Monitor supplier performance and implement improvement programs. Apply total cost of ownership principles for competitive sourcing. Develop and implement cost reduction plans across categories. Negotiate with local/global suppliers for optimal commercial conditions. Support cross-functional projects for service, quality, and cost improvements. Manage risks and provide reporting on sourcing, supply, spend, and PPV. Conduct market analysis and benchmarking for technological advancements. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Degree in Engineering, Economics, or Management. Minimum 5 years of sourcing management experience in a multinational company. Experience in the Medical Device industry. Strong analytical, negotiation, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency in Office 365, MS Project. Knowledge of finance and contract management is a plus. Strong team leadership and influencing abilities. Willingness to travel across Italy, Europe, US, and Asia. Experience in multinational and international environments.
