Required About Our Client: Our client is a nonprofit organization dedicated to human rights advocacy. They are seeking a

temporary HR Generalist

to provide support while their HR lead is on maternity leave. This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional who thrives in a mission-driven environment. Job Description: This fully remote contract role will run for approximately 4.5 months. The HR Generalist will be responsible for managing payroll, benefits, onboarding/offboarding, and compliance-related HR tasks to ensure a seamless transition during the leave period. Key Responsibilities: Payroll Administration:

Process bi-weekly payroll for 50+ employees, maintain the timekeeping system, track leave balances, and set up new hires in ADP. Onboarding & Offboarding:

Follow established templates to ensure smooth employee transitions. FMLA & Disability Administration:

Manage leave requests and process related documentation. Benefits Administration:

Assist employees with benefits-related questions and ensure accurate processing of changes. Record Maintenance:

Maintain accurate and confidential personnel records. Recruitment Support:

Assist in hiring 1-2 employees during the assignment, including screening candidates and scheduling interviews. Qualifications: Experience:

4+ years as an HR Generalist, preferably in a small nonprofit organization. Systems Proficiency:

ADP and Microsoft Office experience required. Soft Skills:

Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and a “no task too small” mindset. Availability:
