We are seeking a full-time Product Engineer with expertise in heat transfer and an understanding of manufacturing processes. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing heat exchangers for Hydronic HVAC systems to optimize performance, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. This position requires a strong foundation in heat transfer principles, fluid dynamics, and hands-on experience in manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities: Design and develop terminal heat exchangers for HVAC systems with a focus on heat transfer efficiency and performance. Conduct thermal analysis, simulations, and testing to evaluate system performance. Collaborate closely with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and meet production requirements. Test and validate designs to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications. Identify opportunities for design improvements and implement enhancements to existing systems and processes. Prepare detailed technical documentation including design specifications, test reports, and user manuals. Maintain performance data and provide expert support to sales and application engineering teams. Stay informed on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 2 years of experience in HVAC engineering, with a focus on heat transfer. Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and techniques. In-depth knowledge of heat transfer principles and proficiency with thermal analysis tools. Experience with HVAC design software and simulation tools; SolidWorks experience is a plus. Strong problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Experience with ETL/UL or AHRI certification standards is a plus.
