To support the company’s continued growth and to build a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement, our client seeks to hire a Director, Operational Excellence (OpEx). This leader will develop a sustainable continuous improvement culture using DMAIC principles to enhance work processes and output, eliminate waste, and improve performance in safety, quality, cost, and customer experience. The Director will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer and with branch and TSDF operations leadership to ensure that operational improvements are rolled out quickly and effectively, and that initiatives are sustained.
Core to the Director’s function will be day to day ownership of operational data and reporting and dashboarding – managing recently developed tools already developed in PowerBI that integrate Netsuite (financial) and FieldFX (operational) data sources and ensuring that MEG’s operational performance is clearly trackable in real-time. The OpEx Leader will play a crucial role in transforming the organization into a more efficient, agile, and competitive business by embedding DMAIC processes throughout its branch operations. The Director will report to the COO and will be located in one of the company’s operational branches in the NY/NJ/PA region, ideally on Long Island.

Ability to track, communicate, and report results and project risks effectively across all levels of the organization. Proven ability to proactively identify and assess operational improvement opportunities in branch-based organizations. Initiative & Project Management
