The selected candidate will work night shifts (18:00 - 06:00), providing care for patients who require an intermediate level of cardiac care. The hospital is looking for skilled, experienced nurses who have a background in cardiac stepdown care. Key Responsibilities: • Provide high-quality nursing care in the Stepdown Cardiac Unit (CSU) during night shifts. • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care. • Monitor and assess patients, particularly those with cardiac conditions, in need of intermediate-level care. • Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC charting system. • Follow established protocols and procedures for patient care and safety. • Participate in on-call rotation as required. • Support hospital initiatives and contribute to a positive patient care environment. Requirements: • Experience: Must have previous experience in cardiac stepdown/intermediate-level care. • License: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina or pending. • Shift: Available to work night shifts (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM) and adhere to the unit’s 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio. • COVID-19/Flu Vaccination: COVID-19 vaccination is not required.
