What You'll Do:
As an
Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) , you'll be at the forefront of securing enterprise and mission systems. You will:
Perform or review technical security assessments of complex computing environments Participate as a security engineering lead and representative on technical teams Design, develop, and integrate secure networking, computing, and enclave architectures Apply IA policy, risk frameworks, and best practices to build secure solutions Support the development and enforcement of trusted relationships among external systems Contribute to risk assessments, security planning, and mitigation strategies Support the development, review, and implementation of C&A/A&A documentation (RMF, DIACAP, NISCAP) Recommend system-level solutions to security requirements Interact with stakeholders, customers, and cross-functional technical teams Ensure compliance with NIST, NSA, and DoD policies, procedures, and frameworks # of Hires Needed

What You Bring:
Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph Fourteen (14) years of experience as an ISSE on programs of similar scope, type, and complexity Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related field; additional relevant experience may count in lieu of degree DoD 8570.01-M compliance at IASAE Level 2 (e.g., CISSP-ISSEP) Desired Certifications & Expertise:
CAP - (Certified Authorization Professional) GSEC / GSLC - (GIAC certifications focused on security leadership and essentials) CASP+ - (CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner) RMF knowledge & experience - Strong grasp of NIST 800-37, 800-53, and system lifecycle integration Familiarity with tools such as Nessus, STIG Viewer, SCAP Compliance Checker, Xacta, etc.
