Mixed Reality Developer Location: Washington, DC Metro Area Company Stage: Public Company (NYSE Listed) Office Type: Hybrid (3-4 days onsite required) Salary Range: $135,000 - $220,000 + Competitive Equity Company Description: Join a cutting-edge technology company that's revolutionizing how organizations solve their most complex challenges. Our client, a publicly-traded industry leader in data analytics and artificial intelligence, is seeking talented Mixed Reality Developers to join their innovative team. They're building next-generation solutions that impact critical missions across defense, healthcare, energy, and more. What You Will Do: Collaborate with a world-class team of researchers, product managers, 3D artists, and engineers to create groundbreaking mixed reality experiences Develop high-performance applications leveraging cutting-edge MR hardware and sensors Work directly with end-users to understand needs and translate them into intuitive mixed reality solutions Build mission-critical applications that bridge 2D and 3D environments Contribute to the architecture and development of next-generation immersive platforms Ideal Candidate Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related STEM field 2-10 years of software engineering experience in full-time roles Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals Extensive experience with Unity development Track record of shipping AR/VR applications Expertise in one or more: C#, C++, Python, Java, JavaScript Experience with physics engines and 3D mathematics Preferred Qualifications: Experience developing applications for enterprise or defense sectors Background in game development or interactive 3D applications Experience optimizing performance for AR/VR platforms Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts US Citizenship required for security clearance eligibility Compensation & Benefits: Competitive base salary: $135,000 - $220,000 Comprehensive equity package Premium health, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) with company match Flexible PTO policy Professional development opportunities Modern office space in vibrant DC location Hybrid work environment (3-4 days onsite)
