Salary: $115,000 +

From electrical system studies and master plans to the design of power, lighting, and low-voltage systems, our client’s engineers design the right systems to keep your lights on, devices powered, and systems running, while minimizing energy consumption and keeping building occupants safe.
Working from their main office in Des Moines, IA, or their secondary office in Omaha, NE, our clients value expanding industrial needs across the Midwest and are looking for a seasoned professional who can successfully contribute to their growing team.
The Job:
Our client is looking for experienced Electrical Engineers that are enthusiastic and highly driven. Commercial, industrial, healthcare, hospitality, governmental, and educational projects are among the many types of projects you will work on.
This calls for someone who can work independently and is self-motivated. You will be responsible for helping to further grow their local office and MEP Department in either Des Moines or Omaha, in addition to taking part in business development initiatives for the company. Leading projects from conception to completion, collaborating with clients, utilizing and coordinating internal resources, and representing the company to the client team are further responsibilities.
Required Experience:
- Electrical System Studies and Facility Master Plans
- Energy Audits
- Fire Alarm Systems for New and Existing Buildings
- Lighting for New and Existing Buildings
- Low-voltage Systems for New and Existing Buildings
- Power Distribution for New and Existing Buildings
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 4+ Years of Experience Working in the MEP Department for an AEC Firm or Specified Electrical Firm
- Prior Experience in Client Relations – Proven Track Record of Generating New Clientele is a Plus
