We are seeking a passionate individual to join our team on a part-time basis. Based in Pasadena, CA, you will assist in managing our social media and website presence and executing strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement. Content Creation & Social Media Management: Develop, schedule, and manage engaging content for various social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter (X), and TikTok). Develop and execute social media strategies to assist with Talent Acquisition, marketing campaigns, targeted-sales, and promotions. Monitor and manage social media channels, respond to inquiries, and foster meaningful interactions within the community. Research and pitch creative campaign ideas to enhance brand visibility and engagement. Ability to create custom blog content, manage website blogs (i.e. VillageED), and ensure SEO best practices are implemented. Ability to convert documentation into simplified blog content for a broad audience. Digital Marketing & SEO (Search Engine Optimization): Build and manage paid search (PPC: Pay-Per-Click) and social campaigns (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn Ads, etc.). Conduct keyword, audience, and competitor research to optimize content and ad performance. Implement strategies to improve website traffic and engagement through SEO and content marketing. Analyze performance metrics (ROI, KPI, engagement rates) and adjust strategies for continuous improvement. Implement organic growth strategies (e.g. improving existing services/processes). Manage social media spending with proposed departmental budget, providing detailed performance/engagement reports and analytics to stakeholders and management. Demonstrate the ability to develop and implement effective organic social media strategies to enhance engagement and brand visibility. Other Duties & Responsibilities: Design eye-catching visuals for social media, organization website content, and marketing materials using Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools. Create and edit videos and podcasts to support content marketing efforts. Work alongside our Leadership and Executive team to ensure cohesive messaging across all platforms. Track and analyze social media metrics to measure the success of campaigns. Stay ahead of digital marketing trends, platform changes, and emerging technologies. Other related duties may be required. Requirements: Education & Experience: Pursuing or recently completed Bachelor’s degree in (Digital) Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. Minimum 2 years of experience in digital marketing, content creation, or social media management. Previous experience in high-growth, data-driven industries is a plus. Technical Skills: Basic understanding of social media platforms, paid advertising, and performance marketing. Experience with SEO strategies, content marketing, and website analytics. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and video editing software is a plus. Familiarity with WordPress and content management systems. Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills, a plus. Soft Skills: Strong written communication skills with an ability to create compelling, audience-focused content. Analytical mindset with a passion for data-driven decision making. Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple projects independently. Creative problem solver with a results-driven attitude. Work Schedule: Part-time position, approximately [16-24] hours per week. Flexible hours.
