Our client is seeking an operational team leader which leads custom made tax planning engagements for high and ultra-high net worth individuals and families. This role will lead and manage across all phases of the client engagement and project delivery lifecycle. This includes allocating and deploying resources based on project needs, current workloads and required skill sets to establish client engagement teams. The ideal profile will be a seasoned Senior Manager or Director in a public firm focused on Private Client Services. Qualifications:
Tax Technical Knowledge
– Extensive experience and a strong working knowledge of tax issues with respect to pass-through entities (subchapter K), trusts and estates is critical to success in this role. A minimum of 10+ years of practice experience working with trusts, estates and flow-through entities at a public accounting firm or law firm is required. Tax Planning Experience
– This role requires significant experience understanding each client’s unique facts and crafting impactful tax efficient strategies, structures and solutions designed to meet their goals and priorities. Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or similar field of study is a requirement. Post-graduate degree with a focus in tax is strongly preferred (e.g. Masters of Taxation, Masters of Accounting with a concentration in tax) Seniority level
