Job Description

At NorthBay Health, the PET/CT Technologist conducts examinations for patients of all ages to assist in diagnosing illnesses. This role requires an imaging technologist with specialized knowledge and experience in both PET and CT imaging. The technologist performs general and specialized PET and/or CT studies in accordance with established quality assurance standards. Responsibilities include completing necessary paperwork and charges, ensuring patient safety and well-being throughout the examination process, and assisting and guiding patients before and during procedures. Additionally, the technologist is responsible for cleaning and inspecting equipment prior to use and reporting any malfunctions.

Qualifications

Education: Two years of college preferred. Graduate of an accredited 2 or 4-year Nuclear Medicine program. Licensure:

Active CA State License in Nuclear Medicine (all scopes defined in section 30533, plus venipuncture). Must Possession of either an ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification. Prefer the addition of ARRT(CT) and NMTCB PET certification. Experience:

One year as a PET/CT Technologist. Ability to perform as a working PET and CT Technologist. Demonstrates the NorthBay Way. Hours of Work:

Day Shift. Some afterhours call as needed and appropriate.

Compensation:

Hourly Salary Range $72.79-$80.26(Offered hourly rate based on years of experience) 10% per diem differential included in salary range
