We are looking to hire someone for a global leader in specialty chemicals, focusing on products and solutions for bonding, sealing, damping, reinforcing, and protecting in the construction and automotive industries. This companies innovations enhance performance, durability, and sustainability in building materials, industrial applications, and vehicle manufacturing. Operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment to handle the receipt, storage, and shipment of materials, supplies, and finished products. Work independently under the Warehouse Supervisor and assume leadership responsibilities in their absence.

salary: $60,299.2 - $60,320 per year shift: First work hours: 7:30 AM - 4 PM education: High School

Responsibilities

Operate a forklift and other equipment to handle receipt and shipment of materials, supplies, and finished products. Work independently under the Warehouse Supervisor and assume supervisory duties in their absence.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate daily shipping/receiving schedules, ensuring on-time shipments and inventory accuracy. Operate forklifts and use WMS (Warehouse Management System) for order processing. Pull, assemble, and prepare orders for shipment following company and customer requirements. Train and coach employees on SOPs, safety, and lean principles. Identify and implement process improvements and efficiency enhancements. Maintain accurate inventory using barcode scanners and report discrepancies. Ensure safety compliance, perform equipment checks, and maintain warehouse security. Assume leadership responsibilities, including scheduling, problem-solving, and directing workflow when the supervisor is absent. Qualifications & Competencies:

Experience:

4-5 years in manufacturing/distribution, including forklift operation. Skills:

leadership, organization, problem-solving, and communication. Physical Demands:

Lifting up to 50 lbs, frequent walking, pushing, and pulling. Flexibility:

Able to work any shift and overtime as needed.

The essential functions of this role include: wearing steel toe shoes working in a non-temperature controlled environment manual lifting up to 50lbs standing for 8 hours at one time
