Position Highlights Title: Sr. Mechanical Engineer Direct Hire Company is global machining manufacturer Located in the Northern Dayton, OH Background Requirements BSME 10-15+ years Mechanical Engineering experience Solidworks Experience Machine Design Experience Job Responsibilities Produce equipment designs for products such as machines and tooling utilizing automation standards and practices to meet or exceed customer expectations. Provide effective engineering support throughout the build phase utilizing bidirectional communication to improve functionality, manufacturability, and maintainability while reducing cost. Facilitate and support communication among customers and sales team ensuring specifications, budgets, and deadlines are clearly communicated and understood. Works with a design team to create design sketches, layouts, and plans. Reviews designs through all steps for technical accuracy, manufacturability, and maintainability and within project budget and timing constraints.
