Legal & Customer Growth - HR Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Manager to partner with our Customer Growth and Legal teams. In this role, you will collaborate with Customer Growth, enterprise marketing, and the global legal function to deliver HR excellence in talent attraction, retention, succession planning, workforce planning, performance management, and development.

Your strategic and day-to-day HR leadership will be crucial in achieving our business goals and objectives. Additionally, you will take on broad HR Business Partner responsibilities, ensuring functional excellence and driving talent management strategy.

This position reports directly to the VP of HR for Corporate Functions, offering a unique opportunity to make a significant impact.

Key Responsibilities: HR support for SVP, Chief General Counsel, and Chief Customer Growth Officer and their respective organizations

Global talent management, talent acquisition, and strong support driving high engagement for client groups

Strong cross-functional HR partners with Business Unit marketing HRBP's

Build and maintain a strong leadership team through coaching, mentoring, and development at all levels

Actively develop and foster a positive employee relations climate, high employee engagement, and team effectiveness and integration

Maintain visibility and active presence within the team, providing daily support and communication

Develop organizational capabilities that align to and drive business strategies and identify opportunities to drive organizational efficiencies, reducing complexities and increasing the ability to scale

Lead HR processes such as organizational development and effectiveness, performance management, talent acquisition, training initiatives, career development, compensation, and HR policy and strategy development

Actively participate in leadership meetings and strategy sessions

Identify, communicate, and problem-solve employee relations issues

Leverage and improve HR processes to drive excellence and capability to deliver value for client groups in organization and people development

Day-to-day HR tasks and other duties and projects as required or assigned

Skills, Knowledge & Experiences needed:

Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field required; Master's degree preferred

7+ years of HR experience in matrix and dynamic environments

Previous HR business partner experience with a proven track record of successfully implementing HR programs and initiatives

Strong analytical and technical skills, attention to detail, and driving data-driven decision-making

Change management, organizational design, organizational effectiveness, and facilitation experience

Ability to communicate and collaborate at all levels with proven success in building strong relationships

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience with HRIS systems

Comfortable with ambiguity

Willing and able to courageously push back or challenge the status quo

Demonstrated learning agility

Business acumen and sound judgment with the ability to integrate HR practices into business processes

Strong customer focus and excellent problem-solving skills

Work Conditions:

Office environment, located in Polaris HQ (Bass Creek / Medina)

Some travel to other Polaris sites and events (20% or less expected)

The pay range for Minnesota is $106,000 to $140,000 per year. Individual salaries are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.
