The assistant role is crucial in facilitating the relationship between the doctor and patient, and maintaining efficiency while providing quality care to patients. We are looking for a candidate to become part of our team in providing excellence in oral surgery care for patients. Candidates must be detail-oriented and fast learners. Oral Surgery Assistant Position:
• Full-time or part-time
• Updated office with digital radiography and electronic health records
• Will sponsor training for Advanced Cardiac Life Support
Candidate Requirements:
• X-ray safety certification
• CPR training current
• Proficient in electronic health records and software
• Experience with nitrous oxide sedation
• Oral surgery experience an advantage, but not required to apply
Duties Include:
• Surgical assisting during a variety of procedures
• Greeting and seating patients
• Thoroughly reviewing health history with patients
• Exposing radiographs, including 2-D and 3-D
• Provide pre- and post-operative instructions
• Prepare, breakdown, disinfect and sterilize surgical suites
• Taking alginate impressions
• Pouring models
• Sterilization duties
Compensation will be based on experience.
