Schedule: PRN Days
Shift: M-F 8am-5pm flexible, occasional call on Sundays 8-12pm, 1-Holiday call only a year.

The role you’ll contribute: Assist physician with medical care in a physician practice setting. Communicates with physician(s)/co-workers, as appropriate, about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
- Assist the physician in providing medical care to patients in the physician practice setting.
- Documents pertinent information in patient charts by dictation or handwriting.
- Instructs patients for procedures, makes appointments, and answers medically related phone calls at physician’s direction.
- Performs venipuncture; administers injections; aids in diagnostic procedures.
- Takes patient vital signs and accurately documents these.
Qualifications - External
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
- Current North Carolina RN license required.
- BLS certification required within six months of hire.
- Medical Office experience preferred.
