Data Architect & Analytics

Job Description

Experience: 15 - 18 years of experience in designing, architecting, and implementing large-scale data processing, storage, and distribution systems.

Responsibilities:

1. Extensive experience working with large data sets with hands-on technology skills to design and build robust Data & Analytics solutions.
2. Ability to work with multi-technology/cross-functional teams and customer stakeholders to guide/manage a full life-cycle of a Data solution (including Big Data).
3. Extensive experience in data modeling and database design involving:
1. Data warehousing and Business Intelligence systems and tools.
2. Relational and MPP database platforms like Netezza, Teradata.
3. Open source Hadoop stack.
4. Hands-on administration, configuration management, monitoring, and performance tuning of Hadoop/Distributed platforms.
5. Strong understanding of Data & Analytics platforms and ETL in the context of Data & Analytics.
6. Ability to frame architectural decisions, provide technology leadership & direction.
7. Excellent problem-solving, hands-on engineering skills, and communication skills.
