Overview
The Radiology Technologist operates x-ray equipment as designated. Selects proper exposure factors and demonstrates a thorough knowledge of radiographic positioning.
Responsibilities
- Practices radiological technology in a manner that ensures radiation safety for self and the patient.
- Performs diagnostic procedures on a minimum of two (2) modalities.
- Demonstrates competency and proficiency with x-ray equipment in various locations such as ER/ICU portables and C-Arm in OR.
Qualifications
- Licensed by the State of California in Radiology and Fluoroscopy.
- Certified by The American Registry of Radiological Technologists.
- Current Basic Life Support Certificate.
