Job Title: Adult Psychiatrist

Compensation: $180 - $200.00 per hour

Location: Community Mental Health Center, Decatur, Alabama

Position Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week) 1099 long-term contract

Job Description:
We are seeking an Adult Psychiatrist to join our team at a Community Mental Health Center located in Decatur, Alabama. This position offers the opportunity to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality psychiatric care to adult patients in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for adult patients.
  2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and therapy.
  3. Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  4. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient interactions using Echo Electronic Health Records (EHR).
  5. Collaborate with other mental health professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Schedule: Monday through Friday Full-time position - 40 hours per week

Requirements:
  1. Board-certified or board-eligible Adult Psychiatrist.
  2. Experience in a community mental health setting is preferred.
  3. Familiarity with Echo EHR or similar electronic health record systems is a plus.
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to providing compassionate care.
