Position: Private Equity Analyst - Operations – San Francisco, CA
Compensation and Benefits: Base pay $100k – 120K + bonus and/or carried interest in the fund. Full benefits.
Background: Tobin Capital Group (TCG) is a Stanford Graduate School of Business-founded, tech-enabled real estate private equity firm and operating company. TCG owns and operates ~$400M in real estate. TCG has raised and began deploying its first discretionary fund and aims to 5x its real estate portfolio within five years.

A Stellar Performance Review could have the Following Elements:
- The Analyst developed a centralized, scalable and automated process to generate new tenant leases, trained onsite managers on the new process and led the implementation and roll out
- The Analyst led a project working with internal and external partners to implement a new utility billing process that improved recapture by 15%
- The Analyst partnered with the Director of Manager Success and onsite self-storage facility managers to increase tenant insurance penetration by 20%
- The Analyst developed a Local Marketing Scorecard, rolled it out to Property Managers and helped coach and hold them accountable to hit all the Scorecard KPIs
- The Analyst researched best-practices and redesigned our tenant booking workflow, increasing our conversion rate once someone reaches our website.
- The Analyst worked with the Director of Manager Success and Strategy to develop the next quarter’s on-site manager continuing education program
- The Analyst demonstrated the Perpetual Growth Ethos and improved every week
- The Analyst consistently demonstrated dynamic problem solving, requiring common sense, global thinking and high initiative
- The Analyst exercised autonomy and thoughtful initiative – e.g. each month this person asked the COO what his biggest operational challenges were and proactively found solutions
