Guadalupe Regional Medical Center located in Seguin, Texas (just outside of San Antonio and Austin) is seeking a board certified, Texas licensed, internal medicine or family medicine physician to join its dynamic and highly skilled team of hospitalists.
Ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in inpatient care, however new graduates will be considered.
- Rounds: Daily rounds start on (open) ICU at 7 a.m., then surgical floor (which includes orthopedic cases), and then medical floor.
- Daily Census: 15-20 patients per day on average.
- Shifts: Flexible 12 hour, 7 on 7 off schedule. (7 a.m. to 7 p.m.)
Ideal candidate will be able to perform the following procedures:
- Ultrasound guided central line placement
- Mechanical ventilation
- Ability to perform procedures, preferred (training available)
- Board Certification - required
