Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP (preferred), STABLE, CPI
Must-Have: - Emergency Department experience - Trauma experience - Stroke management skills - Strong sepsis skills
Job Description:
- Provide high-quality care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. - Work collaboratively with a team consisting of charge nurses, registered nurses, and techs. - Adapt to patient ratios of 4:1, occasionally 5:1 depending on acuity levels. - Utilize critical thinking skills to respond to emergencies and perform emergency department procedures. - Participate in rotating schedules, including every other weekend and potential pre-scheduled on-call shifts. - Maintain professional appearance and adhere to dress code requirements, wearing royal blue scrubs or a combination of a royal blue top with black scrub bottoms. - Demonstrate a positive attitude and teamwork to contribute to a cohesive unit environment. - Ensure patient safety and apply strong emergency department and trauma skills effectively. - Adapt to using Meditech Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system for patient documentation and care coordination. - Follow strict attendance guidelines and exhibit reliability in shift commitments.
Candidates with experience in ER/Trauma, pediatrics ER, and behavioral health settings will be considered favorably. Experience working in similar healthcare environments is a plus.
